Description
The RAB field-adjustable edgelit wafer downlight series are versatile and efficient LED downlights that can be install in nearly all applications. These fixtures have foolproof spring-loaded clips that are adjustable to fit various drywall thicknesses making them easy to install directly into the ceiling or in existing cans. Downlights in this series can come in 4- and 6-inch sizes with smooth or baffled trims. All wafers are color temperature adjustable via dip switches located on the remote driver box. Each downlight is backed by 5-year no compromise warranty.
Change the look and feel of your fixture by switching the color temperature. Each fixture comes with a switch that selects between 2700K warm white, 3000K soft white, 3500K neutral white, 4000K cool white, and 5000K daylight color temperatures.
Installations are super flexible with an off-board driver that minimizes installation height, maximizes thermal management, and eliminates the need for a traditional recessed housing or "can". A plenum-rated cable connector links the downlight module to the remote driver, and then the module snaps into place with the adjustable, spring-loaded retention clips.
The wafer's spring-loaded clips are adjustable and designed to be used with various drywall thicknesses. Their long length makes them easy to install, and their heavy-duty design makes sure they stay in place. Wafers even include a large flange to compensate for holes that are cut incorrectly.
