Introducing the FWAFER series - field-adjustable, fire-rated LED downlights by RAB Lighting. These innovative downlights are not only certified to withstand intense conditions, complying with UL 263/ASTM E119 for a 2-hour fire test rating, but they also offer unparalleled flexibility in lighting design. With 5 selectable color temperatures (2700/3000/3500/4000/5000K), you can effortlessly adjust the ambiance to suit any environment. Whether you're working on new construction or retrofit applications, these downlights, available in both 4" (11W) and 6" (15W) sizes, with options for smooth and baffle trims, are the perfect fit.

The FWAFER series boasts a 50,000-hour LED lifespan, ensuring longevity and consistent performance. The off-board, remote driver design not only minimizes installation height but also maximizes thermal management, eliminating the need for traditional recessed housing. The edge-lit design of these downlights ensures minimal glare, providing a wider, smoother light distribution. They are also dimmable with most common TRIAC forward and reverse phase cut dimmers (120V) and are Title 24 compliant. With a 90 CRI, these downlights offer accurate color rendering, making them ideal for commercial applications where color precision is paramount.

All FWAFER models have been tested to UL 263 and ASTM E119 standards for 2-hour fire resistance.
Change the look and feel of your fixture by switching the color temperature. Each fixture comes with a switch that selects between 2700K warm white, 3000K soft white, 3500K neutral white, 4000K cool white, and 5000K daylight color temperatures.
Installations are super flexible with an off-board driver that minimizes installation height, maximizes thermal management, and eliminates the need for a traditional recessed housing or "can". A plenum-rated cable connector links the downlight module to the remote driver, and then the module snaps into place with the adjustable, spring-loaded retention clips.
Back-lit downlights deliver a more vertical distribution, putting the light directly on the work surface. Edge-lit wafers use a reflective panel to disperse a wider, smoother distribution that reduces glare.
